Amazing Villa for a large group. We traveled with 12 teenagers and 10 adults. There was enough room for everyone. The bedrooms were well appointed and private. Each had a high end en-suite bathroom. There were an additional 3 bathrooms throughout the villa, including one next to the pool and an outdoor shower. The owner Rene was extremely responsive and accommodating. He did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is enormous, with plenty of room for the kids to splash around, while the adults took advantage of the huge pool bar and hot tub. The main floor deck had great views of sunset and really captured the evening breezes as the sun went down. Rene recommended Freya, from Barbulet Concierge Service. She organized a chef, pre-stocking the villa and taxis for us. Chef @home organized a lovely meal for our first night of arrival, which was a great way to start the vacation. I highly recommend this Villa if you are traveling with a group, plenty of room for all.
I stayed at Villa Royale Jan 2018 for a vacation with my family. Wow! This place looked even better in person than the pictures I saw when booking. Freya the concierge made sure everything was waiting for us upon our arrival, cold Amstel Brights, and my favorite wine I requested. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us together, and feel comfortable. The pool was our favorite part of the house where we spent most of our time together. We had arranged a few dinners that week to be cooked by chef that Freya had arranged for us. The food was amazing and well presented for us. The location of the house couldn’t be more perfect. It’s located in a quiet area but only a 10 minnute drive to all of the action of palm beach. I have definitely recommended this place to my other family and friends who want to vacation in style in Aruba. We are already planning our next visit there again next year!
This was my second visit to Villa Royale and I’m sure not the last ! I was there the last week of January 2018 with my entire family ( 12 people ) ranging from my 15 year old son to my 78year old father. The Villa had something to offer everyone. Before our arrival I coordinated with Freya the concierge to have my favorite beer ice cold and specific food items ready and waiting for me upon my arrival. She was pleasant to deal with and there was nothing to big or small to ask of her. We had arranged a few dinners that week to be prepared by the chef Feya had arranged for us. The meals were fabulous and he was able to accommodate some dietary restrictions we had requested beforehand. The house was cleaned every other day as agreed too, and was spotless for our stay. I am a long time visitor to Aruba and I can say hands down this is THE BEST rental property on the island for a big group traveling together. The Villa is spacious enough for everyone to have their own space and privacy when needed, but also to stay at one residence. I highly recommend this place if you are traveling with a big group/ family and want some place to accommodate everyone under one roof. I am already discussing plans four visit there again next year !
We celebrated a 70th birthday with 11 adults and 4 children and the house still felt quite spacious. We used Barbulet Concierge and the Owner (Freya was her name) was spectacular. She made our stay so easy - from food shopping before we arrived, making restaurant suggestions and reservations, arranging transportation and car rental (she had our driver pick us up at the airport and drive us to the car rental facility and met us there. Then she escorted us to the house, crib rental, etc.). She also arranged for two different chefs to make meals for us at the house. The food was delicious - as good if not better than dinners at the restaurants we frequented. They shop, cook, set up and clean. The waiter (AJ) was a doll and very experienced. Both dinners were fabulous! The house has 9 baths but only 2 or 3 of the baths actually had hot water in the shower. None of the bathroom sinks have hot water and that is not because something wasn't working. It appears the hot water valve on the sinks was turned off purposefully. The ground water in Aruba never gets cold so the lack of hot water in the sinks wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have. We spoke to the house Owner (Rene) about the showers and he was very responsive but was unable to make any changes or corrections to the hot water system during our stay. Besides the hot water in the shower issue, I thought there could have been some basic provisions provided by the Owner that are not - hair dryers in each bathroom, bar soap (they provide liquid soap that foams when you pump it - doesn't work great in a shower!), ample supply of dishwashing detergent, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper. We had all of these supplied but inadequate quantities. I felt like I had to ration the use of the dishwashing detergent and we had to purchase additional tissues, paper towels, etc. At the cost of this house, there should be an abundance of these basic supplies. I would go so far as to say there should be bug spray (the "no see'ums can be a pain) and some hotel sized shampoo/conditioner/lotion at least a two day supply just in case guests forgot to bring it. There is a Mart just down the hill from the house that was open from early morning to late at night and had everything we needed (including spirits, wine and beer). All in, it was a great house, wonderful experience and would recommend checking it out if you have a large crowd. And definitely contact Freya at Barbulet Concierge! I want to thank Mitchell for being so patient with me during the decision making stage. I had loads of questions and concerns and he was great to deal with. Thank you Mitchell. It was a pleasure.
Thank you Villa Royale! We loved every moment ...of our stay here. The grounds, the rooms, the pool, the kitchen, the wine celler - all spectacular. I'm coming back soon! Wellbeing beauty brand philosophy hosting a Long weekend with beauty bloggers.
House was above expectations. We had 6 families stay here. Owner was very nice and accessible. One problem we had, which we suggested to owner, was more circulation in public area. These areas had no A/C therefore a little hot. Would stay here again
My family and I spend Christmas and New Years in Aruba this past year. We needed a special place to host friends and family and celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Villa Royale fit the bill perfectly. It was roomy, comfortable, and in a great location. We spent time lounging at the pool, dining in the spacious interior, and enjoying the breezy decks and balconies. Freya, at Barbulet Concierge helped arrange chefs, massage therapists, yoga instructors, transportation, and dinner reservations. The time we spent in Aruba created memories for my family and friends that will last a lifetime.
