We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay, the Golf course is the centre piece which is surrounded by magnificent houses, villas and bungalows; The snorkelling and swimming is also of a very high standard and I enjoyed the Turquoise clear water daily. The bungalow at the gardens( Number 12) Was in dire need of airing and a bloody good clean, there was NO view and the patio area was poor at best. Kitchen utensils were cheap and in short supply and we were greeted by ants all over the kitchen surfaces. The resort which is set over acres and acres of land, is well looked after but would not be suitable for anyone with any walking issues. There is NO LOCAL SHOP and NO complimentary shuttle service so you would either need to hire a car or pay taxi fares. I do feel if you offered a shuttle service a few times a day this would be a great advantage to your customers and yourselves. The evening restaurant is on the beach, which was 1.27 miles to walk from the bungalow, it was very dark by 18.30pm and the lighting is poor and surfaces uneven. We would return very happily to this beautiful part of Curacao but I would not call it a Luxury resort or Bungalow. Competition for customers is tuff in the travel industry and you must improve your service to your clients. You recommend Max, the taxi driver, but we had worrying issues with both the arrival and departure transfers; you wanted to take NO responsibility when he didn’t turn up for our departure. There are also issues with the photographs which you are so proud of on TripAdvisor!! Our bungalow bore no comparison, which is surely some kind of advertising trick!!
